Unlike uniforms, scrubs are a generic item and for departments such as OR, they are in high demand but often short supply.

Autovalet's CabiNet will improve supply and reduce losses by imposing control and accountability.

The CabiNet system permits only authorized users to collect clean scrubs - and even then, only if they have previously returned dirty items.

Authorized users can collect 24 hours a day but their usage is tracked. If dirty scrubs are not returned promptly, the user has no further access to clean. A connected bin verifies each item returned and identifies abuse.

By controlling usage, stocks can be protected and shortages avoided. Costs can be better controlled because only authorized users have access to scrubs.
